Student satellite launch a success
It seems that students in Europe have successfully launched a rocket into space, carrying satellites for China, Iran, and the UK-funded Topsat, an Earth observation microsatellite. Work was done by students located at 23 universities. They were able to collabarate using the internet.Read the full story here.

They probably launched their satellite cheaper then any goveremnent with billions upon billions of dollars of funding could too!
